Some studies have proposed a link between obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and the presence of myeloperoxidase (MPO) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), but the influence of OSA on these biomarkers in individuals with cardiovascular conditions is presently unknown.
